1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing or using the FIFO Buddy app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. ABOUT THE APP
FIFO Buddy is a lifestyle and wellbeing app designed for Australian FIFO (fly-in fly-out) workers and their families. The App provides tools for roster management, financial tracking, mental wellbeing check-ins, fitness tracking, personal development, and a rewards feature.
3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age to use FIFO Buddy. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
4.1 FIFO Buddy operates on a freemium model. A free version of the App is always available. Until 1 July 2026, all features are provided at no cost.
4.2 From 1 August 2026, FIFO Buddy will offer optional premium features through a paid subscription:
Monthly: $14.99 per month
Annual: $129 per year
4.3 The free version of the App will always remain available. Premium features are optional, and you will not be charged without your express consent. Applicable pricing will be presented to you within the App before any purchase.
4.4 Subscriptions will be processed through the Apple App Store (and any other app store on which the App is later made available). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are subject to the relevant app store's policies.
5. TAX
FIFO Buddy does not provide tax advice, and nothing in the App or on this website should be relied upon as tax advice. Whether any expense is deductible depends entirely on your individual circumstances. Please consult a registered tax agent or the ATO before making any claim.
6. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
The content provided in FIFO Buddy, including mood tracking, mental wellbeing resources, fitness guidance and nutritional information, is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and should not be treated as such. Always seek professional medical advice for any health concerns.
7. MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES
FIFO Buddy provides links to third party mental health support services. We are not responsible for the content or availability of these services. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services on 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
8. USER CONTENT
8.1 You retain ownership of content you upload, including Vision Board photos.
8.2 By uploading content, you grant us a licence to store and display it within the App for your personal use.
8.3 You must not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of any third party.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, design, code and trademarks associated with FIFO Buddy are owned by FIFO Buddy App Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, FIFO Buddy App Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
12. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
